Moving On Up

Ohh holidays... I figured I would update with some current happening. Recently I have mostly been doing anatomy studys and working on my peoples. This is a random assortment of some of the studys- and a few others I did including a swain (from LoL) picture. In other news I am cutting a set of pictures I had planned to do to accompany my Resumé when I sent them out. All the pictures were going to be specific the studio I was applying to totaling 4 pictures per studio but it just ended up to be too big a task when I really need to be sending out my Resumé right now. So for the time being I will shelf them. When I get the time to do some more work on them I will probably post them up here. If your one of the studios I sent my Resumé to – then you should totally hire me- I am awesome, just ask Africa :)

A New Brush

Not all of these are using new brushes but most of them are. things have been dead lately so I thought a new brush might liven things up again. My new resumé has been finished, take a look let me know what you think. Working on a set of new pictures right now to escort it off to far away lands.

Soul

Spiritual successor to my older painting "crawl" is "soul" - ok, honestly the names don't really matter. I just pick something when someone asks me what its called. making such gems as "cat" and "fire skull" common place within my domain of awesome. On a side note I had intended to have finished up environment 1 from the stream earlier today but I got challenged by a fellow artist- leading to a horrific battle involving wacoms and home made chilly. Two may enter- but only one will emerge victorious. soul is now also in the gallery section for your viewing pleasures.

Sketchbook Session 2 +

Alright, so after a good chunk of time trying out different software I can use to stream my sketching sessions up onto justin.tv I think I have an alternative to the trial software I was previously using. So I should be doing more streaming soon. although its short notice I usually say on twitter when I am going to start streaming- and if you miss it justin.tv keeps the videos up for a week or so for you to watch at your leisure.

so these won't be around by the end of the week. but here for the next few days you can check out the sketch session I did on justin.tv - next time I will probably post on twitter or google+ when I start one if you want to see it live. I usually take requests (the last 2 pictures were requested by viewers)

Updates, And Drawings

Ok, to start things off let me give a quick update on the site. its basically done, and has been. I was planning to finish one new tutorial, and a new resume before I launch it, but I feel like the new site is so much better I will go ahead and bring it online probably later today and just finish the last few things after live.

Now then onto the goods. Here is the resume so far, and some sketches- the last 3 are something I posted in the LoL (league of Legends) forums here:  (Animal champs we NEED in leaug...) If you don't know anything about LoL you should go take a look at it.

Vacation

So, I am sad to say I don't have anything to post up picture wise today- but I figured it might be worth mentioning that I will be on vacation today to around the 28th. I still have some things to do before I leave for the airport so I must away- but consider yourself informed.

The Daily Venture

What am I working on today? well... this thing. Who knows I may actually finish this one out.

on another note I am going to be trying to do fewer gray scale sketches and do more with colors.

Do you know what is not fair? It is not fair that I haven't posted up my big "I have been working on this forever" picture on this blog for you fine folks. I am going to rectify that right now. I usually end up posting this stuff on conceptart because I get feedback their... sometimes... ok not often- but I figure it can happen right?!

On a side note I do read comments on here, so feel free to give me some feedback or even request pictures. I can't make any promises but I have been known to do requests on occasion.
